A/N: I suggest you listen to "To The End" by My Chemical Romance along with this story.  It'll make it all the more adventurous for you. (:

He sits on top of the bed sheets that once smelled of you, sitting cross-legged semi-consciously aware of the hell he lies in. His brow creases with thought and more words are scribbled on paper. No more, ‘sorry’s or small mewls of apologies. This was goodbye. This letter was forever.

He folds the paper sincerely and places it to the right of him, gliding his hand down the purple silk. He breathes in and his nose crumples. The room even smells of her now.

There’s no use waiting anymore. One last goodbye is spared to the once white wings of their past. One last glance is thrown towards the room with the purple silk sheets. A sigh; and a standalone white folded note.

Down he goes, following the red of the carpeting to the end. He looks to the living room to find the wedding party all passed out. The photographer’s still going, the click of the lens tripling with each push to the button.

There goes the bride. Across the lawn and into the car that waits. Tears and mascara stream down her face. His eyes catch sight of the pool. There he sees the object of his fantasies with his head in his hands.

Steps become heavier and seconds turn into hours. Finally the crunching of gravel turns into concrete and steps seem to become eminent. The man looks up and his eyes glisten with tears, but his face reads blank.

Another mistake, he said. He was always looking at the men. He did love her, he said, that part was true. But the only person I failed to love was you. He finished, note on the sheets long since forgotten.

He comforts the man, not saying a word. Just takes him into his arms.

Cut scene, she’s signed the papers. It’s final she smiles. She drives down the road not a care in the world. Going 90 down the Pike in her new purple Benz. She drives down Rodeo and stops at each shop. Her fingers are hurting, but each hundred will drop. Down to the last penny, she crawls through her life.

Her image she sells via chat rooms at night.

Cut back, he’s there in his arms and with this marriage is null and void. He can’t believe he’d ask this since the first one went wrong. But he continues on anyways.

“Marry me?” he asks, voice small but profound.

He can’t hear the ringing in his ears; feel the world as it spins. He smiles so dear and nods his head. Together till the end, nothing in the way. Tears all spent and forgotten, like Romeo and Juliette. Lives continue. And smiles are brightened. Their eyes sparkle with a shine not abandoned, in love for the other.

Years have gone by, and they’ve gotten old. His partner just passed away. It’s just another day goin’.

He smiles at another day alone, in thought that soon he’ll be another sin in the dust. He sings one last verse before drinking the cyanide.

“To the last parade.
And the parties fade
And the choice you made.

To the end.”

That night Ville died in a way, to be with his beloved Bam, another day…
