***Ch.3***

I watched as Bam and his mother, fought over something that he had broke, something very dear to her that she had kept with her for years, it was passed down through the family then finally to her, only to be destroyed by her son who was trying to skateboard through the house.

He did not mean to make his mother break down into tears, or to break the little porcelain figurine. I watched curiously as he apologized over and over, for what he had done, saying it was by pure accident and that he had never meant it.

I caught something in the doorway of the room. I wasn't sure if it was really something or if I was seeing things, but it looked like one of Azraels' Watchers. I moved my gaze from Bam and his mother to try and get a better look at the faint figure in the doorway, but when I did it had already dispersed.

I removed my hand from the mirror, as to not get caught by one of the Guardian Angels, if they were to come around. I walked quickly a few good hundred feet away from the mirrors and sat down on one of the stone benches along the pathway.

If it was one of Azraels Watchers than why were they watching Bam and his mother? Their job is to counteract intervention by other celestials. Not to interfere in the natural course of a mortal's life. Bam nor his mother were near death yet, the light around their body (besides their auras) was still strong.

The Grigori, the Eighth Choir (also known as the Watchers), were used to watch over man-kind and report to the Seraphim council and Archangels what they saw. The Grigori were supposedly the most "human" of angels. They were able to blend with humanity, cope with the petty selfishness and daily sins of men without even twitching, interact with humans as near-equals, and all the while retain their divinity. They were the only angels who could really understand humans. Even though the Mercurians, who loved humans and intuitively understood the intricate web of human relationships, were still removed from mankind.

Even the most benevolent of angels know that they are of a different order of being than man, celestial, holy and complete unlike mortals. It was only the Grigori who understood what it was like to be a human. It was only them that truly appreciated what made/makes humans special, the reason why God had set them above all other creatures, including us angels. That was one of the reasons why Lucifer had been infuriated, and went to defy God, he did not want something so simple, incomplete, lower than him to be greater.

The Grigori were also the only angels who really felt comfortable on Earth, and who didn't mind staying there. Which this had ultimately contributed and led to their downfall.

Being able to feel and understand man-kind made them very effective at their jobs. They knew why humans do evil, what causes humans to act selfishly, knew how to teach those people effectively without having to take away their free will or the person they truly were.

They would also warn other angels when demons were about, to stop them from corrupting man-kind even further. Every time I think about this makes me laugh, the Grigori around 11,600 B.C., came to the attention of Heaven that the Grigori had actually become entirely too (if that's even possible...) human; they had gotten themselves wives, started their own families, and some were even succumbing to debauchery, immersing themselves in corporeal pleasures. The Grigori argued, to no avail, that this was just a part of them mingling with humanity and understanding them. The truth was that they had become corrupted by their long stay on Earth, hence causing them to become and act like a mortal themselves.

Heaven was angered by this and to get rid of the Grigori offspring and civilizations, they had David and Oannes, Archangel of the Waters, generate a great flood in the area of the Tigris and Euphrates that drowned entire civilizations just to wipe out the Grigori and their monstrous offspring. Not all of them were entirely wiped out, only the offspring, so some of the untainted Grigori kept hidden in the shadows from Heaven and voided being murdered.

Then why would one now show up at Bam's home? Sure they were supposed to be trapped in the human body till they die and are waiting for their Judgment from heaven, but why was their a slight presence of one not in it's human body, in Bam's doorway?

All of this was starting to confuse me, nothing seemed to fit, and these dreams weren't helping either. I got up from the stone bench my dark curls falling in front of my face, as I made my way down the path.

'How will you be able to reach Earth, my lord?'

'Oh don't worry Beelzebub, I've finally found a way to get to Earth.'

'What way is that my lord?'

'I'll tell you when it is time Beelzebub...'

Choking I fell down gasping for air as I tried to let the air go back through my lungs. After I regained my breathing I just sat there, shocked and surprised that I had another one of their conversations, but instead of in my dreams it was when I was awake. I sat there for maybe another 12 minutes contemplating what had just happened. This had never happened to me before, and it resulted with me choking for air.

Comments=faster updates they also equal VAM love. =P srry it was short though, but I need the second pt to be in ch.4...
