Hey, another dial-up user! I know what you mean, that's why I hate when people put up pic-spam entrees and have like 60-100 pictures in one post, saying "dial-up users beware". I'm not mad at them...quite the contrary, but sometimes it gets very frustrating...:/

I have to agree with you on this, even though I don't have dial-up. For me, it's more that they can sometimes take up massive amounts of flist space, depending on the size and number of banners. They are quite pretty, but they do get a tad annoying at times.
