There were generally no real sparks that erupted from the kiss, however, the unforgiving weakness in Bam's knees told him that there was definately an affect. Bam immediately opened his eyes and blinked as he and Ville parted. He watched as a contented smile crept onto Ville's features, obviously satisfied with the gesture of affection. Bam's conscience told him to smile too, however his body reacted in quite the opposite of fashions. Tears welled up in his eyes as he stared up into Ville's placid emrald ones. Bam's lips began to form words, but his voice had just then decided to take a vacation and leave him to appear as though he were a fish out of water. His head then slowly shook from side to side as he backed away towards his window.

"Bam?" Ville questioned. "What's wrong?"

Still finding his voice disabled, Bam's features contorted into expressions of a mix of sorrow and anger. The tears that had welled up in his eyes now finally cascading down his features.

"Bam?" Ville called again.

"How could you?" Bam whispered as he darted out of his room, narrowly missing his friends.

Ville stood stunned as he continued to stare in shock at Bam's open doorway, unaswerable questions continually pecking at his mind. Snapping out of his momentary shock coma, Ryan's gaze locked on Ville's and soon enough wildfires sprung forth.

"What the fuck did you do to Bam?" Ryan shouted as he darted over to Ville and latched onto his coat lapels, slamming him back into a wall.

"I-I..." Ville tried to answer, but found no explanation.

"Well?" Ryan questioned angrily. "Why'd you make him so upset?!"

"I-I didn't....I didn't mean to..I," Ville studdered.

"How dare you," Ryan spat as he relaxed his grip, causing Ville to drop to the floor. "You fucking prick! You couldn't even guess that Bam was heartbroken? He even told you that he wasn't ready to be in another relationship so soon!"

Despite Ryan's constant verbal abuse, Ville remained where he landed on the floor, shame casting a huge shadow over his emotional heart.

"I hope you're proud of yourself," Ryan finished as he left the room, Brandon and Raab soon following.

"Bam..." Ville whispered. "I'm sorry. I hurt you, and it's all my fault. I don't deserve to be your friend...."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bam pulled his knees into his chest and wrapped his arms around them, shivering slightly from the tears that continued to pour from his eyes. Finding his treetop casino memorial was the safest place to escape to, he allowed himself to be engulfed by the comforting sounds of the environment. He watched as the clouds rolled lazily on by high in the sky as he did his best to forget momentarily about his emotions. He rubbed his sore nose as he began to calm down from the episode, letting it fully work its way through his system.
"It's just too soon," he told himself. "I can't blame Ville, seeing as how he's been an available bachelor since he and Jonna broke up about two or so years ago."
He then remembered how heartbroken his friend had been that day in Helsinki. The weather was cold as hell, well below the freezing point, which was why snowflakes were falling. Being the huge kid that he is, froliced happily in the dancing creations of nature. Even though they were mere flakes of frozen water, Bam would always inform Ville that they tasted like sugar. Of course Ville would always laugh and inform Bam that he was a knucklehead, but he really didn't care, he loved the snow. The cold however was another thing, especially when the environment in a humble apartment could be even colder.
~~~*Flashback*~~~~~~~~~~

Bam shivered profusely as he quickly entered Ville's apartment building, closing the door instantly behind him. He then proceeded to wrap his arms around his shivering torso as his Element winter jacket did its best to retain Bam's body heat, warming Bam from the inside out. Once he was satisfied with the temperature, he continued up to Ville's specific apartment. He hummed a cheerful tune as he briskly traversed the hallway. Once he reached Ville's door, the light that had been shining above it suddenly burned out. Furrowing his brow, Bam glanced up to stare at the now dark lightbulb before rapping his knuckles on the door.

"Kyllä?" questioned a rather weary voice.

"Ville?" Bam questioned. "It's me Bam."

"Hold on," Ville responded, changing over to English.

Bam then heard another rather angry voice shouting consistantly in Finnish, and quite fast as well. So fast that Bam was only able to pick out a few words that were shouted between Ville and Jonna.

"Minne olet matkalla?" Jonna shouted as Ville's heavy footfalls stormed towards the door. "Ville!"

"Lentokenttä!" he finally shouted, grabbing onto the door knob. "Näkemiin!"

After he had finally shouted his last words, Ville opened the door and walked out into the hallway, slamming the door behind him afterwards. Bam glanced at his friend then back at the door in disbelief.

"Let's go Bam," Ville said as he bowed his head and started off down the hall.

"Uh did I miss something?" Bam asked as he jogged to catch up with Ville.

"No, and it's nothing to worry about either," Ville said sullenly.

Bam stopped and allowed Ville to continue on. He then glanced back at the door that used to lead into Ville's messy yet homely apartment that he used to call home.

"Bam Bam," Ville called, his voice echoing. "Are you coming or what?"

"Yeah, be right there!" Bam shouted before glancing back at the door one last time.

~~~~~~~~*End Flashback*~~~~~~~~~~
To be able to calm Ville down, Bam and him had to go on about 20 or so drinking binges before Bam guessed that his friend had finally drank away Jonna's memory, or so he hoped. The only thing Bam ever remembered about his drinking binges with Ville was the sickening hangovers he suffered through the next morning in his hotel room. Oh well, either way he had helped his friend out of his dark time after the break-up and Bam had really felt he actually accomplished something for the greater good. However having recently split up with Jen, and now being responsible for his friends, his brother and his band and now Ville just seemed to overload Bam's mental capacity. However what really broke his heart was when Ville had made physical advances upon him in a rather uncomfortable manner. He still hated himself for not verbally informing Ville that he was uncomfortable and just needed his own space to breathe. He supposed that he kind of did physically by removing himself from the bed and walking over to his window, but Ville followed him, then...kissed him. Having the scene replay over in his mind again made the bile in his stomach shoot up his esophagus. Bam retched and quickly scrambled onto his feet, reaching the casino's railing just in time as he vomitted over the side of the railing. After the first wave of nausea, he coughed and gasped before another round smacked into him full force and caused him to vomit again. The last wave finally washing over him, Bam collapsed back onto the casino floor, saliva dripping from his quivering lips.
"Bam!" a voice called out, echoing across the field. "Bam, where are you?"
Recognizing that the voice was Ryan's, Bam moaned weakly and pushed himself onto his feet, wiping his mouth dry with the sleeve of his jacket. Standing on weak and shaky legs, Bam valiantly stumbled over to where the zipline was still attached to the roof of the casino.
"Bam!" Ryan shouted again. "Come on man, it's just me!"
"Ryan!" Bam weakly shouted as he leaned against the tree.
He then moved around to gain better access to the casino's stairs, but miscalculated and ended up slipping and falling. The journey from the top of the stairs to the ground wasn't a pleasant one as Bam's vocal chords loudly proclaimed with a piercing cry loud enough to reach the house. Upon discovering he had landed, rather rudely in fact, he moved all of his limbs to make sure he could make it back to the house on his own, however when he moved his right arm slightly he cried out in pain and laid it back on the ground.
"I..can't move my arm," he whispered panting, panic growing in his mind. "I can't move my fucking arm!"
"Bam!" he heard Ryan's voice grow closer.
"Ryan!" Bam cried out. "Please help!"
"Hold on Bam!" Ryan called as he ran down the path leading to the treetop casino. "Oh God Bam."
Ryan slowed to a walk until he was by his friend's side.
"What happened Bam?"
"I fell," he said panting. "I can't move my arm..."
"Alright Bam, alright," Ryan said trying to calm his panicking friend. "Just calm down."
"Oh God Ryan," Bam whimpered. "It hurts so bad..."
"Let me see," Ryan said as he pulled Bam up agianst his chest.
"Ahh!" Bam cried out upon being moved.
Gently, Ryan pulled back the sleeve of Bam's jacket, inspecting the wound to judge just how bad it really was. Biting down on his lower lip, Bam tightly clenched his eyes shut as Ryan continued to "check" on it.
"Jesus Ryan," he cursed. "Would you cut it out? That fucking hurts!"
"Looks to me like you fractured one of the bones in your arm Bam," Ryan said as he lifted Bam to his feet. "I'll get you an ice pack to wrap around that then I'm taking you to the hospital."
Bam nodded as he carefully cradled his arm against his chest, hissing in pain every so often. Upon entering the house, Bam noticed that the Pirate Bar was deserted. He paid little attention to it as his elbow started to feel increasingly hot.
"Here," Ryan said as he handed the ice pack to Bam. "This should help with the swelling."
He then grabbed his keys off of the island and ushered Bam outside. A few moments of careful arrangement and curse words later, Bam and Ryan were on their way to the Chester County Mercy Hospital.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Mr. Margera!" a nurse called standing just outside the doors leading back into the hospital.

Upon hearing his name, Bam and Ryan stood up and followed the nurse to a specific room. By now the ice had all but melted, but the cool water still provided Bam's arm the relief of anymore swelling.

"The doctor will be with you shortly," the nurse said before walking out and closing the door, leaving Ryan and Bam alone in a sterile environment.

It didn't take long for the doctor to arrive to their room which was a suprise, but aside from that he was actually very nice.

"So Mr. Margera," the doctor greeted. "What ails you today?"

"I broke my fucking arm doc," Bam said in a monotone voice.

"Well then why don't we take a trip down to the X-Ray room to see if you really did break a bone," the doctor responded opening the door.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I can't believe I broke my fucking arm," Bam said as he stared out at the passing environment.
"Well it could have been worse," Ryan said as he concentrated on traffic ahead of him.
"And how could it have been worse Dunn?" Bam questioned.
"You could have broken your neck."
Finding no retort for Ryan point, Bam went back to staring out of his window. For 6-7 weeks he was confined to wearing a cast and sling to help his fracture heal, which meant no skateboarding. He was sure this would blow over well with the people at the skate companies who organize skate demos. There was going to be a lot of disappointed fans at the next demo if they assigned one in the next few weeks or so. Irritably he sratched at his cast, which was actually a fluorescent purple color. He didn't mind what color he wanted his cast to be, but come on annoyingly bright purple? Oh well, it could have been worse, he could have had to wear a pink cast. He was so caught up in his thoughts that he hadn't noticed the Hummer pull into his driveway until Ryan shifted into park and shut the engine off.
"Hey Bam, we're home," Ryan said. "Do you need any help getting out?"
"No, I've got it," Bam said as he used his left hand to open the door.
Carefully, Bam alighted from his Hummer and shut the door. Frustrated with himself, he stormed into his castle and up to his room, Rake, Raab and Brandon left to wonder what happened.
"Hey Ryan," Raab commented. "What's up with Bam? And what happened?"
"He broke his arm," Ryan commented. "And now he has to wear a cast and sling for six to seven weeks."
"Wow, that sucks," Brandon commented.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Upon entering his room, Bam found Ville sitting on the edge of his bed, his gaze set on the picture of him and Bam that Bam kept on his desk.

"Ville?" Bam questioned.

Sorry if it's not how you would to expect it to turn out...^^; fear not, it will get better. ^_^
