A Vam Christmas Story

All day at work I couldn't keep this idea out of my head. So I thought I'd give you all a short Christmas story. Hope you enjoy it!:)

Title: Forgive and Forget
Pairing: Vam
Disclaimer: Don't own them

Forgive and Forget

Sighing softly, he pressed the ‘end’ button on his cellphone. Letting the small object fall to the couch cushion, he leaned his head back before running his hands over his face. No matter how many times he called, the person on the other end would never pick up. Stress was quickly becoming a pain in the ass for him. It was Christmas Eve, the day were most loved ones spent the holiday together. However, he was the unfortunate one. Sure he got to be with his friends and family, but the one person he wanted to be with was absent for the time being. While at the same time, the conversation they had the other day was still fresh in his mind. A conversation that ended up in a slight argument.

“Are you sure you can’t make it?” he questioned softly as he held his mobile phone to his ear. He was laying on his bed, in the middle of his comfortable bed, one hand behind his head while the other held the phone.

“Love, you know I can’t. I promised the family I’d visit.” Ville’s deep voice echoed out of the speaker.

“But what about me? I want to see you too.” he spoke in a soft tone. A tone that would usually make one feel guilty at just the sound of it.

A sigh was heard through the phone, followed by silence. “Bammie. You know I can’t be with you every waking breath. As much as I’d love to, reality won’t allow it.” Ville stated gently, trying to reason with the skater.

“Fine.” It was the only word he could release without getting upset.

Although it had not stopped the argument that made Ville hang up on him. Since that day, Ville would not answer his phone calls, let only return them. Time continued to passed as he lounged on the couch. Even with the fight the two had, Bam had still promised to go to dinner with the others. Dunn had suggested that it’ll get his mind off the whole situation for a few hours.

The dinner had come and gone, and now Bam found himself walking up to the front door. He was calling it a night from this long, stressful day. The others decided that the night was still young and were taking advantage of it. Phil and April were going off on their own to enjoy the peace and quiet. Sticking the house key into the lock, he unlocked the door before opening it. Stepping inside, he removed himself of his jacket and shoes. To lazy to pull either his scarf or beanie off, he started in the direction of his room. However, as his room inched closer, so did the sound of music. And he could recall never leaving music on at all.

Cautiously, he made his way over to his bedroom. Stopping in front of the door, he was able to make out a soft glow coming from the crack at the bottom. Hesitation for a second, he finally reached out his hand to the door knob and carefully opened his door. With the door finally open, he came to an abrupt stop. All around his room was different shape and sized candles. The next thing to come into view was all the white flower petals scattered all over the floor and his bed. Among the bed was a shirtless figure hunched over an acoustic guitar. Beautifully strumming at the strings, while humming softly to himself. “Ville?” he asked aloud, but the question only came out in a whisper. A whisper that was loud enough for him to hear.

The music stopped as he had turned to face what had interrupted him. Those green eyes stared at him carefully. He gently set the guitar down before climbing to his feet. “Bam.”

“What are you doing here?” he asked as he stepped into the room, closing the door behind him. “I thought you-?” he stopped himself as the two meet in the middle of his room.

“An excuse so you wouldn’t expect anything.” Ville answered softly, knowing full well what he was going to ask.

“What about the argument?” Bam questioned softly as he looked up into Ville’s green eyes. Eyes he had been dying to see.

“I’m truly sorry about that, but you can get irritating sometimes.” Ville answered sympathetically as he looked down at Bam’s shorter figure. Wanting nothing more then wanting to hold him in his arms. “It killed me. I wanted to leave home right after it.” he added softly as he watched the once sadness that claimed Bam’s gorgeous blue eyes turn into delight.

“Ville, I-” However, instead of stopping what he was going to say, Ville took the opportunity to silence him himself. With his lips upon his, the simple kiss turned into a more hungry, passionate one. Ville slowly brought his hands to cup Bam’s face has he continued to deepen the kiss. Sliding his tongue into Bam’s mouth he couldn't help the moan that escalated from his throat. Only resulting in Bam doing the same. As the kiss continued, Ville had backed Bam up to the bed. Breaking the kiss only once to catch a quick breath, he attacked Bam’s mouth again as he gently leaned him on top of the bed.

Once Ville had Bam laying on the bed, he removed his lips from his mouth and began to kiss down his jaw line to his neck. At the same time he started at the buttons to the black shirt Bam had been wearing. Removing the article of clothing only allowed him access to the now exposed chest.

Knowing what was to come as a result to all of this, Bam stopped Ville. With those green eyes staring up at him, he gave off a small smile. “I love you.” he spoke, with more meaning behind them three words then anytime before.

Letting the words race through his head, he smile back at his lover as well. “I love you too.” he said before gently placing his lips over Bam’s.
