Summary: Things aren't getting resolved.

Ville expected things to be awkward for the rest of the day at least but they weren’t. Bam didn’t give him any looks or anything and Ville wondered if he had dreamed it all but his chest was too sore for that to be true.
Bam was feeling very good and took great delight in scaring the hell out of Ape by skated boarding.
That evening Ville was still smiling at the memory of April running out of the house, shrieking at Bam that he was supposed to be resting. Since neither he nor Bam was allowed alcohol things had taken a surprisingly intellectual turn in their activities. They played Scrabble until getting into and argument about whether they could have Finnish words or not, then watched TV for a while.
During a commercial Bam looked over at Ville, yawned, and then stretched. “Why have you been wearing me clothes?” He asked off-handedly
Ville was suddenly glad that everyone else was annoying Ape and Phil because he must have been bright red. “Oh, uh, well, I can’t find my suitcase. I don’t know what happened to it, so…well, I needed clothes.” He finished defensively.
Bam cracked up, laughing hard for a long time, then stopping and looking slightly ashamed. “Sorry about that. I hid your bag before…you know…as a prank. I had forgotten until now. It’s out in Fast Eddie’s Casino Memorial.”
Ville scowled. “A prank? My cigarettes are in my bag. I had to buy more and you know what I think of American cigarettes.”
Bam nodded, trying to be serious. “The same thing you think of American beer.” Then he started to laugh again.
Pretending to be annoyed Ville threw a pillow at him. Bam laughed even harder. “Sorry, you just…I don’t think I’ve ever seen you blush, it looked so funny.”
Ville shook his head and turned his attention back to the TV, ignoring Bam. He was completely unprepared for the attack and suddenly Bam was on the couch beside him, tickling.
Ville squirmed but tried not to, attempting not to reveal how ticklish he was. “Ha!” Bam said. “You know you’re ticklish, Ville, and so do I. Stop trying to fight it.”
Ville gave in and squirmed, trying to evade Bam but his attempts at escape were unsuccessful.
Finally they both quit, Ville half lying on the couch with Bam sprawled on top of him, both breathing heavily. Bam moved and winced. “Ow, maybe that wasn’t such a good idea.” He said.
Ville nodded in agreement as the wound on his chest sent little vibrations of pain through his body.
Bam tried to get up but the rug under his feet slipped and sent him crashing back down onto Ville. Ville yelped as Bam elbowed him in the stomach, then grabbed Bam’s shoulders, keeping from falling and possibly doing more damage to either of them.
Once Ville got his breath back he opened his eyes, staring straight into Bam’s. Ville was transfixed, unable to move for a moment, then he leaned forward impulsively and kissed Bam’s nose before pushing Bam away and standing. “’M going to bed.” He said and hurried out.
He made it to the room he had been sleeping in and shut the door, pulling the sheet, blankets, and pillows back onto the bed from where they had fallen while he was having nightmares the night before.
“Ville, please come out here.” Bam said, knocking on the door.
Ville finished pulling off the hoodie he had been wearing and opened the door. “Please, not tonight, Bam.” He said before Bam could even open his mouth.
Bam opened his moth, then snapped it shut again. After a pause he shook his head. “Ville, I can’t stand doing this off and on thing. Why don’t you just let me in?”
Ville shook his head. “Please, Bam, I’m…I’m too confused. I…It’s too soon.”
Bam seemed to pause, thinking about what Ville had said, then he looked determined. He took a step forward and put a hand on Ville’s hip, his other resting on Ville’s right bicep, he leaned in, brushing a kiss that was barely there over Ville’s lips.
Ville shivered, Bam’s warm hands on his cool skin a sharp contrast. Bam didn’t move away after the kiss, he just stood barely an inch from Ville. Ville looked into Bam’s eyes, feeling Bam’s hot breath on his skin.
Ville wanted to say something but he couldn’t think. After a moment he just pulled back away from Bam, went into his room, and shut the door.
Ville was apprehensive that Bam would try again but after several minutes he decided that Bam had given up, though probably only temporarily.
