Fuck me pink with a hairy arse, its been three weeks since my last entry. My sister, Rhodalyn, left literally last week and now my other sister is gone to Boston for the weekend. So it's been pretty quiet around the house lately and I have a weekend free of worry about getting kicked off the computer.
Easter was spent in Niagara. I know, it seems like that's really the only place we go to here in Canada. Mostly because, well, its the only place. We took my sister there, stayed at the new resort with the massive water park, had a really horrible and boring time in the actual Falls and downtown area. I wanted to post pictures but all of them are in the other computer.
In fandom news, I've been obsessed with Green Wing as of late. But it hasn't been as good as it was before. I don't understand this new shocking development. It's turning into LOST, I swear. I loved Green Wing's lack of plot lot season. As if our lives have plots that unfold. It was just normal day-to-day stuff with the major dose of hilarity but they are developing plot. Plot is not necessary!!
I'm definately, without a doubt, going to see RENT on the 12th or 13th of May. My Mum is unsure about letting me go since I'll be going alone but I told her I'm not going to miss this show. I don't know anyone in the Touring cast except Matt Caplan but I'm hoping it'll be worth the hundred dollars or so I'm shelling out. I'm excited like teh whoa. Already the tickets that are available are teh suck. I need to get a move on in ticket purchasing. Okay forget that. I'm having doubts if I want to see Rent. I know that the cast really shouldn't matter but its the OBC and movie cast that I've gotten used to. When I hear or see videos of the other cast, I find something terribly lacking in the story. So I'm not sure if I'm willing to shell out a hundred dollars for it. And even then the tickets I'm going to get are shit seats. Sigh. I don't know -- there's just so many other things I could do with this hundred dollars. And really, I figure, if I'm already so unsure about it -- does that mean I really want it? Besides, if I plan to see Rent. I'll see it in the Netherlander. Not the fucking Elgin.
*sigh* I's bored, gonna go get the tickets.
