Researching until the crack of dawn, isn't something I'm used to anymore. And the fact that I was exhausted and had fallen asleep on top of my books, was nothing new. Did he always have to answer the phone that way? Like someone was about to call him and tell him that whole world just exploded and he was the only one left? Course if he was the only one left who the hell would be callin' him? Naw. It was cool, I knew that Wes had a tendency to worry about everything. Well, now was a good time to start worrying. Tara had up and disappeared and whoever snagged her spent a fair amount of time rippin' her whole dorm room to pieces ( ... )

Letting out a relieved breath when I heard Faith on the phone, I sank down in a nearby chair. Thank god, it wasn't the call I'd been dreading everytime the blasted thing rang. But it didn't take me long to pick up in the anxiety in her voice. Which surprised me. If there was one thing Faith hardly ever did, it was letting emotions creep into her voice ( ... )

"I'm on campus. Hillman Hall, it's the dorm right next to mine. Fourth floor, room 43." I rattled off as my eyes continued glancing around the room. It was hard to tell what I was lookin' at when I didn't know what to look for. "You gotta hurry, Wes." He didn't even have to answer me because I knew he'd get over here as fast as he could, ignoring public transit and just runnin' through the park. That was my watcher. Only ya know, a dignified stuck up version of runnin' or whatever ( ... )
