Nightmare's can come true?

So, Vae's first run... well lets say it wasnt the best, but it was better. The first night I got her we brought her to the same place the rodeo was at tonight and practiced her there. She wouldnt go into the arena for... lets say 20 minutes, and then wouldnt turn the barrels. Tonight, well we had Misty walk us through the gate, but she was good. Then, we had a little stall at 1st barrel, a BEAUTIFUL 2nd barrel, and... well 3rd barrel caused us a no time. But my mind wasnt really on the run, because Guinness (my 2nd half) was collicking today. When horses get stomach aches its called collic. It doesnt sound so bad but, imagine this: you're eating that 3rd huge slice of pizza when your intestines start to feel like they're coiling up, and you can tell it's not going to be pretty. Or this: Youve just eaten at some random place you've never been to before. As soon as you finish, youre stomach is moaning and it feels like someone is punching you in the stomach. The food had looked clean, but it was undercooked. Now you have a mild or maybe even severe case of food poisoning. The best thing that can help you is to throw up, right? Well horses cant throw up, so when they get stomach aches, they're intestines begin to tighten and they can get tied in knots. They just keep tightening and tightening and coiling up. Well, my little baby collicked today, and I was really, really upset. He finally passed it around 7:00 and we loaded up fast as hell, we took him for the ride, because I wasn't about to leave him here at the ranch alone. Well, thats why my mind wasnt on running Vae. But, no expectations is my favorite saying for horses that still need some work on the pattern. And I had none, but she surprised me, she really did. And shes fast as all hell.

I had the scare of my life about an hour ago.

But I'll talk about it tomorrow because I'm tired and I have a parade to get dressed and ready and all costumed up for in like.. 9 hours.
