Scene: A hotel room
The room is messy, strewn with clothing and empty pizza boxes. On the cheap beside table there are empty cans of soda and beer. The TV, though not being watched, is set to the local weather channel. The forecast for today: Rain.
Dan paces around the room frantically. He appears to be having some sort of mental debate with himself. He looks over at the bed, which is occupied by someone covered in sheets, though miscellaneous limbs poke out, a bare foot, an arm above the head.
After a moment of looking at this person, Dan grabs the cardkey from the table and after a moment also grabs a pill. Swallowing the pill, he heads out the door, pulling the thin hoodie he's wearing tighter around him.
