(no subject)
I will combine a real entry and the usual likes/dislikes today to avoid working on my take home exam.
I am very ready to be done with this week, to be done with school for a few weeks. I have been getting up at 5 or 6 all week; while I do like the early morning hours, my eyes hurt and I probably look less attractive than I normally do--which still makes me the most handsome man in the world.
I'm not particularly excited about going home, however. I do want to spend time with the puppies, and to see some friends, but I'd rather hang out here for a few weeks and enjoy Chapel Hill minus the daily stresses of school. I do like eating my parents food...I mean they end up paying for some of it regardless, but I don't have to go grocery shopping for it.
Things are falling into place. I have made a mostly determined effort to be open to every person I meet, and have in result gained new friends of an enjoyable sort. I never hear the same things from them, and it is really nice to be around smart and motivated people most of the time. I've never had one true group of friends my whole life, which I'm very grateful for now.
I will do some life planning when I am home. Reuben and Winston will offer guidance. Next summer is perhaps materializing, and it has the potential to be great!
