okay
so on friday night
on the bus to go to semi
i spilled a little bit of wine on val malerba in the bus.
i have nothing against her and it wasn't my fault because the bus was packed with people with drinks and the driver didn't exactly drive carefully, but either way, i spilled some on her.
her mom called me today (yes, val didn't really think to talk to me about it in person first or anything, she just gets her mom to do all her dirty work for her) not too long ago, telling me that i have to pay her back the complete cost of her dress.
she was wearing a red dress anyways and i didn't think it would stain that much but apparently it did and it's "pure silk and from banana republic" (as emphasized many times by her stuck up mom). she pretty much threatened me and told me that if she doesn't speak to my parents about it and get fully reimbursed she's talking to the school about the issue.
so at first im like shit
but then i thoguht about it
and honestly, i'm just gonna go to mr.genova about it myself on wednesday (i have a field trip tomorrow) and talk to him about it. i'll probably tell my dad anyways because either way they'll find out, but i really want to talk to mr. genova about it first. yeah, everyone obviously wasn't supposed to be drinking before/during semi, but i know he knows that a lot of people still did anyways. there's no point lying about that.
honestly, i got a lot of stuff spilled on me that night that definitely would have stained if i wasn't wearing black, but i guess i'm just lucky.
i'm just really pissed right now because val's mom was putting the entire blame on me telling me it was a bad choice to bring wine and we weren't supposed to be drinking anyways. (so she thinks she can blackmail me)
first of all, it's not like i was the only one drinking, so if anything, if she really makes a big deal aobut the drinking issue, then val would get in trouble with the school too? so i'm not worried about that. the whole fucking bus was drinking, along with 80% of th eother people at semi.
second of all, i'm happy i drank wine and not pure liquor or something, to end up like that idiotic devon girl that ended up puking right when we got to semi, getting herself AND leanna kicked out. so i think wine was a better choice than most other drinks, also seeing as i could control myself a bit better.
either way, i'm not ending up the loser in this argument. i'm going to mr.genova first thing on wednesday and i'm going to tell him that they were probably gonna find out about it anywys and i wanted to speak to him myself about the situation. plus, i refuse to pay for that whole fucking dress. val KNEW there was going to be a bus full of people drinking, and i'm sure a lot of other people got things spilled on them, but they're not being as bitchy about it. just because you're rich and you decided to buy some $500 dress and wear it to a place where you know people are gonna be drunk isn't my problem.
i would be willing to maybe be nice and pay half, if anything, but that's really more than she deserves.
