coming home from work to see a room full of balloons, streamers, rose pedals, a big YES!, and a cute boy is the loveliest surprise ever.
however, strange chest & stomach pains and throwing up at work and again in the tgi friday's parking lot is not so nice.
it was an interesting weekend to say the least.
right now, my family is trying to downsize so that we can eventually sell our house once we all go our separate ways. today we were going through boxes in the garage and trying to get rid of anything we don't need. now let me tell you, i never throw anything out. i save every card, every note, every single thing that could hold any sentiment. i found all my old basketball trophies and girl scout badges and what not... i wanted to save anything and everything because it seems so sad to throw them out, but what am i going to do, hang them all up in my dorm and my apartment and my house when i eventually get married??? sometimes, you just gotta let things go... haha.
just for the record (since my trophy is now in the trash), my jam basketball team in 5th grade DID win the championship. boo-ya. AND i had a ton of girl scout badges.
