FIRST ANNUAL TAYSHAUN PRINCE BASKETBALL CAMP
US Sports Camps is proud to present the inaugural Tayshaun Prince Basketball Camp in Detroit, MI!

Our host facility is Wayne State University, a long time Nike Sports Camps location.  Gloria Bradley, Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Wayne State University will administer the basketball instructional program.  Coach Bradley has directed the US Sports/ Nike Girls Basketball Camp for the last 4 summers.  Together with Tayshaun, Coach Bradley will help you become a BETTER PLAYER.

Entering her sixth season, Coach Bradley has taken huge steps towards building a winning foundation at Wayne State.   During the 2002-2003 season, WSU posted a 17-12 record, earned a fourth consecutive berth to the GLIAC Tournament and advanced to the semifinals.  WSU also qualified for the NCAA tournament that year for the first time in school history. Prior to coming to WSU, Gloria spent seven seasons at the helm of the Montclair State Women’s Basketball Program, where she compiled a 114-69 record (.623), which included three Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships (1994, 1997, 1999), one New Jersey Athletic Conference title (1995) and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 1995.  A graduate of Seton Hall University, Bradley was a four-year letterwinner for the Pirates in basketball where she was named First Team All-Big East Conference and New Jersey Player of the Year in 1984.  Bradley was also drafted by in the seventh round by the Atlanta Comets of the American Basketball League in 1984.

Tayshaun Prince will be on hand every day at camp helping you improve your game.  Tayshaun Prince hails from the highly touted University of Kentucky basketball program. At Kentucky, he earned a reputation as a great defender and agile scorer. Tayshaun was named a second-team Associated Press All-American after his junior season and a third-team AP All-American after his senior season. In his four years with the Cats, he averaged 13.1 points per game and finished as the seventh-leading scorer in UK history.

In June 2002 the Detroit Pistons selected Tayshaun with the 23rd pick in the first round of the NBA Draft.  In his second season in the NBA, Tayshaun played the role of defensive stopper. Detroit's defense ignited its run through the NBA playoffs, and Tayshaun was central to the defensive effort. The Pistons dethroned the LA Lakers in Game 5 of the 2004 NBA Finals and became the World Champions.
