At the lake
Connor's been really, really quiet the last couple of times Rixte's ported him here! I was really starting to get kind of worried that there was something he wasn't telling me. But then today Rixte brought Dylan instead! So I guess everything is ok. Connor's usually quiet, so I shouldn't have been worried after all, I know he'd tell me if something was really wrong.
Dylan seemed happy, if quiet. He hugged me for a really long time, but he was smiling. He said that he's gonna be around a bit more often cause he's gonna do the book parts instead of the street part. Dylan's kinda weird. I mean, I like reading and all but if I were him, I wouldn't be able to concentrate, not knowing that everybody was out there fighting. But he said he's hopeful he can find more and do more good with studying.
And I bet he can, he knows an awful lot. One day I'm gonna have him show me how to do the research part, just in case he needs help. I asked if I could help this time but he looked at a couple of books and made a face and said maybe when I'm older. It feels like I'm always waiting to be older.
But I'm really, really glad everybody is ok.
