hahaha last nite...it was great!!!!!!
Tim showed up here last nite (and for the record I mention 'Tim' a lot in 2 different circumstances. Tim is one of George's best friends. The other Tim - is my gay hairdresser...i'll call him Timothy from now on haha)...anyways, Tim came over last nite and we drove over to Beat Bar...hardly noone was there yet considering it was only 9:30pm. But we easily over took the GORGEOUS garden bar - which was obviously outside - and hung out over cocktails and heater lamps hehe...the atmosphere was "gorgeous" as Redmond suggested hahaha. I ended up meeting Redmond - another of George's childhood best friends...and Simon and his bud but I can't remember his name. And a whole bunch of other people that i can't even think of remembering their names hahaha! Redmond is exactly how everyone described him haha. SO hilarious! BUT Ken and Catherine and D showed up - I was SO happy! Catherine loved my hair she said I was "hot as" haha which is damn good here in Australia. haha Then Siobhan and the WHOLE gang showed up and soon enough we had packed the garden bar. SO awesome!
Tim and I went to the bar when we first got there to get George a special birthday drink and Tim says to the Bartender "hey bud i'd like a birthday cocktail for my mate that has lots of spirits and an umbrella" well let me tell you...Stella and Mark (who own beat bar) totally went into the spirit of the occasion...Mark couldn't find an umbrella ANYWHERE...so he asks Stella for a CUCUMBER...haha yeah the look on Tim and I's faces...omg it was hilarious!!!!!!! Needless to say, he ended up carving a penis out of the cucumber and sliced an apple - okay you get the picture...and stuffed the straw in the cucumber and that was the only way that George could drink the drink. HAHAHA!!! With the added touch of some sparklers and Tim and Redmond singing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" at the TOPS of their lungs, with everyone joining in...it was FREAKING hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha! but it was a good nite. It ended with George getting pissed drinking surprise cocktails and a few "lesbian cocktails" given to him from Siobhan hahaha - he was shammered...which meant it was a FABOULOUS nite!!
Catherine almost made me cry though...geeze!! Her and I have become SO close...she's literally the sister I never had - yet she reminds me SO much of Kelly...Looks and everything! :) BUT yeah she comes up to me and says "Man I'm really going to miss you when you leave, I can't believe how much i love you!...can you stay?" OMG it broke my heart... BUT it was so sweet! It's so nice to know that I have true friends here that love and respect me...I mean my mom was right - these friends will be with me forever despite the fact i'll be on the other side of the world! And it's goin to be sad when I have to leave...man...*tear*
OH haha Kate sent me a text yesterday...she flew out yesterday on her way to the US and Canada!! AND Amro left for Egypt with his wife for 2 months! Everyone from work is leaving (amro's coming back though) hahaha! But Kate is SO excited!! she's going there for 5 weeks!! I can't wait for her to come back!! :) Karen, Simone, Lidia, Kim, Sally, Pat, myself and possibly the rest of the BDG (brunswick dental group) gang... already have it all planned out for her welcome home party hehehe!
