There's something about music that sets it apart from all the other pleasures in life.
Earlier today I thought about how music has no consequence.
You know, consequences; like everything else. Drugs, sex, love, food, etc. all have a good and bad consequences respectively.
But music, good music is a beautiful thing, you could hear 5,000 songs without consequence, but drink 5,000 drinks and smoke 5,000 joints and see where you're at.
Damn I needed an update. I've just been so busy, I've had a crazy ass month.
Weather is starting to warm up and I'm loving it. School's keeping me busy. One week until spring break, no plans so far but I know I'll find something to do. We always do.
For example, this weekend alvarez, chris and I ended up at Lake Barcroft at 1 A.M. canoeing over to what was suppossed to be an island party. It was anything but, so we grabbed as much beer (avoiding the hissing geese that a few drunk motherfuckers were beating with sticks) as we could and paddled back. We find a ~50 year old guy waiting for us and he tells us that we should come with him because the cops were here. Chris and I bolted first, because cops were the last thing we needed. We met up with James later and left.
Kate left me. I'm not competely sure why, but she did let me know that she was miserable, and happier without me.
That shit hit me like a mack truck at 100mph. It seems like just yesterday I talked to her for the first time.
It's so awkward, I almost feel empty all the time because I use to be best friends with this girl and we'd talk just about everyday for the past 2+ years and now she's just gone and out of my life keeping busy with hers.
I intend to keep the promise I made to her. I told her that before anything else her happiness was the most important thing to me, and if she decided that her happiness didn't involve me, then thats how it was going to be.
I wish her the best, she's wonderful and will be successful in whatever she does.
