Spike my boy. I know you want to try but I think in the end you will get hurt. I say leave find yourself. Buffy doesn't really want you. She's never happy to see you....EVER and you were dead. Hello!!!! Give her up for your own sanity. You will get hurt.

Considering he stole her away from someone else, I would say he's not very deserving of happiness.

Far as I can tell, "someone else" doesn't seem to be lacking for attention, either. If he wanted to pursue Ms. Buffy, I reckon he'd've done it. Just like Spike here.
