been awhile
so i visited st. augustine again this weekend. everytime i go i fall even more in love with everything there. the town, my school, the charm, everything. what set this trip apart from the others, though, was all the people i met. i already have a pretty good idea of who i'll be hanging out with while i'm there, and i can say i'm pretty pleased with it.
i spoke with my advisor about the classes i'll be taking in the spring. going to ircc was a smart move; i'll be able to start taking core classes next fall. i'm having a REALLY hard time deciding my track and i have no idea why. (communications students have to pick an area of concentration or "track" for their major). at this point i'm going back and forth on public relations or media production; i honestly don't know which would be a better idea. it's hard to choose when both appeal, and i can't do any sort of combination of the two as far as i've been informed. whatever. we shall figure this out, self.
in other news:
- i've never been more mad at our economy for that fact that my stepdad has been obliged to work in Iraq for a year beginning next month. it's upsetting, but he's making the sacrifice for my mom and i.
- thanksgiving eve dinner next week with karen, kp, bobby, lozito, possibly others? i'm cooking my first turkey!
-this weather is intoxicating.
