It hurts. In a good way.

A few lessons learned. It's true, some of the coolest and nicest people you will meet will be in a mosh pit. However the people in the pit right next to you may not be as welcoming; ie: a big elbow to the chest. Thus, one should be at least three times larger than I currently am to be successful in a mosh pit.
The opening band was pretty good. If I could remember their name I'd download them. In Flames started things off with Cloud Connected, which I moshed to. Also Pinball Map, which was fun. Shadows Fall was okay... kind of repitive, but the lead singers hair is about five to six feet long in dreads... no lie. So that was cool. And Mudvayne... well, headliners always rock. And they did. But moshing to "Not Falling" is a bad fucking idea... all the friggen Golds Gym sponsers seem to show up then.
Was fun, but my chest hurts still. Pennywise is coming the 23rd I think... who's with me? :]
