I don't mind you under my skin, I'll let the bad parts in, the bad parts in.

Eventually we will all find what truly makes us happy. A lot of people can't be happy unless they have another person to rely and depend on. But the secret in any relationship is to not need the other person. When you need them you are taken for granted and under appreciated and taken advantage of, but for some reason, you keep loving them. It could be the person them self that you love, but a lot of times its not. Its something that they have and you want. Ambition, money, sex, courage, self-esteem, originality, charm; its all the same and is severely irrelevant.

The funny thing about love is you have to choose between loving yourself and loving another. I guess that’s what I never understood. But eventually, when I find what really makes me happy, nothing will be able to make me think otherwise. Not a person, an experience, a book, a doubt; anything. And I know I'll be there soon. It won't take much more time.

Lyrics to ponder:
Brand New
The Archer's Bows Have Broken

Who do you carry the torch for, my young man?
Do you believe in anything?
Do you carry it around just to burn things down?

Meet me tonight on the turnpike, my darling
cause we believe in everything
If we sweat all these debts then we're sure to drown
So we strap ourselves into this engine now
With a god who we found laying under the back seat

What did you learn tonight?
you're shouting so loud you barely
enjoy this broken thing
you're a voice that never sings, is what I say
You were freezing over hell
You were bringing on the end, you do so well
You can only blame yourself, it's what I say

All that you've got is to ignore the things I was sorry
and sweep me under the rug
And a beating with a book everyone
the book tells you to love
There is an ember in the heart of the kiln
And its burning hot with love
Burning out my sins until there's nothing but dust
rolling me with care into your cigarette
Cause the God I believe in worked on a campaign trail

What did you learn tonight?
you're shouting so loud you barely
enjoy this broken thing
you're a voice that never sings, is what I say
You were freezing over hell
You were bringing on the end, you do so well
You can only blame yourself, it's what I say

Who do you carry the torch for, my young man?
Do you believe in anything?

Do you carry it around just to burn things to the ground?

What did you learn tonight?
you're shouting so loud you barely
enjoy this broken thing
you're a voice that never sings, is what I say
You were freezing over hell
You were bringing on the end, you do so well
You can only blame yourself, it's what I say

Feels like we could escape
and I don't mind throwing away this filthy silver song
If you try running a maze of your lies
It's too hard to save if you've thrown out everyone
