Prom was just about the best thing ever. It was better than I could have imagined. I guess I'll explain the whole thing starting from the begining.
At 1:15 I left school and went to get my nails done. I got a french manicure...they look nice for once instead of when I do them. I picked up Ben's flower, went home, and took a shower. After that I had my mom attempt to do my hair my rolling it up into mini buns on my head like I saw in a magazine. The intent was to make it wavy. The result was a crimped, poofy, mess, but by the time i was done i didnt have any time to make it straight again so I had to go with the messed up hair. Ben said he liked it, but what was he supposed to say? "Your hair looks like crap!"? So yeah. I got to Ben's house at 6:15 and was all worried about being the last one there, but I wasn't because Bernstein and Dan did not arrive until 7 because on the way over they some how wound up like 35 minutes in the opposite direction. While we waited for them we took pictures with who was there (Me, Ben, Kim, Curtis, Kim Vu, Rachel, and Tiffany) everyone looked so nice. Kim brought Tiffany apple pie from burger king which he heated up in Ben's microwave and ate with Tiffany. Dan and Bernstein and his date pulled up at 7 in Berstein's broken car. It was so funny, this piece of plastic was like hanging off of the car like, an inch from the ground and his plate was all bent in. So we are all laughing and Dan says "oh, I thought you knew it was like that. It's not like its dragging on the ground or anything." Dan also had no tie on as he exited the car and handed it to Ben as usual. Apparently he buys kids ties so it was really short...funny stuff. We took a few pictures, I got yelled at my Curtis's mom for not calling him "Micheal" and then we all headed out for the prom.
The prom itself was a lot of fun. Oh gosh. Ben, who was telling me for a good 2 months that he does not dance and does not want to dance was actually the one asking me to come out to the dance floor. Shaffer was off the walls, kyle was funny, Dan danced to his signiture "I Like To Move It", and Scott was just beyond words. OMG like...wow. The best was the Cha Cha Slide "5 hops this time!" At dessert I put whipped cream on Ben's nose several times, as Ben said "I can't take you anywhere" I acted a bit younger than my age on several occasions. It was just a lot of fun. There were a lot of funny moments and outfits (coughguyinbrightredsuitandpantscough) It was just really great.
Ben and I left 5 minutes later and came back to my house. For some reason my Dad and sister went out to the car to listen to a cd, and my mom went upstairs to watch a movie so we had some time alone. I changed into jeans and a regular shirt so I was finally nice and comfy. We watched the Yankee game because they were losing and I like it when they lose. It was really funny...kinda like role reversal. I was the one who was paying a lot of attention to the game and Ben was kinda like "wow...baseball...fun" but I enjoyed myself. Ben left at around 1.
It was all just an amzing night. I can't wait to do it all again. Thanks to everyone who made it so great. Thank you to Ben. I love you so much. I can't imagine myself having a better time than I did, and it's all because of you.
Prom Rocks.
