Icon Tutorial #6- Wishes

Okay, kiddies, today, you learn to make an icon that'll turn this
into this



Okay, let's begin, shall we?

First, get your picture, screencap, whatever your using. I'm using a screencap from Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway" video, capped by ephramyfan.

Then, make your base.

Now, we duplicate that base, desaturate, and set it to screen 100%.

Lookin good, but let's apply a gradient, shall we?

For some deja vu, duplicate the base again and set it to screen 100%.

When I saw this icon-in-progess, I thought, "a light texture would look good". So, let's add one by myrasis.

Then, I wrote "wishes" in black, alpha mack AOE font. And then I set it to soft light, 100%.

And under that, a text brush by me.

Finally, duplicate the base one more time, and set it to soft light 100%.
