A new year:

Jan 07, 2009 00:10

Well, the start to 2009 has come and gone, and it's already shaping out to be a good year. I celebrated with friends from school, i saw the Arizona Cardinals win their first over home playoff game, and the year looks to only get better.

I've decided to set goals for myself for once. But, if I don't accomplish them, it's not the end of the world. Mostly, because I'm content with my life either way. Anyway, here they are:
  • Actually use this thing every now and then. I've decided that writing is a good release, so when things get stressful, i should just use this.
  • Try not to worry so much about school. I'm going to die young if I worry too much about grades I don't need to worry about.
  • Internship. Internship. Internship. Somewhere fun, hopefully.
  • for the fun ones:
    • Buy a Diamondbacks customized jersey. I'm in need of a new one, in their new colors. So going to save up for that.
    • Make my annual trek to Bank One/Chase Field to see the Diamondbacks play their home opener, with my father.
    • Actually make more attempts to improve my extremely bad golf game: basically, be able to hit the ball farther than 100 yards (I think my long right now is like 120ish with my 7-iron).

And so far, my super plans for 2009:
  • Eller. I'm so stoked to start the business school on Wednesday. It's going to be so much work, but in the end hopefully worth it.
  • Spring Break trip to either Boston or California, depending on flights and stuff like that. Seriously, Spring Break could not come soon enough. Both places would be a blast to go, and it'd be with friends either way. super amazing.
  • 3rd Annual Stalk the Diamondbacks Trip. Pretty much completely excited for June 19th-21st to head out to Seattle to see my boys play the Mariners. Not to mention be in Seattle. I love it there, so it'll be a fun experience.
  • NO MORE DORMS. As of May 15th, 2009. I will be free from the dorm, and in an apartment. Freedom, sweet freedom.
  • Turn 20. ugh. I am not looking forward to this one. Seriously, I would rather just skip my birthday, but hopefully something good comes along with it either way.
I'm super excited for 2009. It's going to be a goood time.

Go Cardinals!!!!!

89 days. <3
