(no subject)
While searching the common room for his wand, Neville Longbottom found the following unfinished entry on Hermione Granger's laptop:
I just hope things will get back to normal soon. They'll find Ginny. Of course they will. They caught Lucius Malfoy attacking his own son and apparently the aurors said he was 'completely out of his mind' (although it doesn't seem like an unusual thing to say about a Malfoy but they probably meant even more so). The logical assumption would be that he used the Imperius curse on Ernie and used him to take Ginny. Ernie's little accident in the broomshed probably occured when/if Ernie tried to fight back.
Now that makes sense. Insane Death Eaters is a better theory than insane Hufflepuffs, if I say so myself.
The aurors will use Veritaserum on him and find out where Ginny is. Simple. She'll probably be back by tomorrow. See? We should all just think positive! Yes, even you, Ron. Ginny will be ok. She's a strong girl, as I've told you numerous times over this past hour.
Perhaps the new rules about movement in the castle will even be lifted. Not that anyone listened to them, of course. I said on Susan's journal that I would send people to McGonagall if I found them walking unaided. I sent 15 people to McGonagall during the next few hours. Honestly.
I wonder if I should ask Professor McGonagall about the whole thing. She'd probably give me a straight answer, yes? Perhaps I will at lunch.
Neville figured she must of forgotten to post it before she left. He didn't think she'd mind if he posted it for her.
