I found out today that I'm getting promoted to permanent part time at work. go me! I could go for a beer to celebrate right now. I'm so excited to finally get benefits and cancel my shitty insurance that I have with blue cross blue shield. Hopefully this change will be for good, since there seems to be a curse on our department. Two people were fired, one guy broke his hand completely at work, a girl got into an accident on the way to work today, another's furnace and car broke in the same day, etc. etc. oh well.
joel mchale was such a good time. the guy that opened for him, shane mauss, was funny as hell also. after the show we got to meet joel and he is oh so fine and let me tell you he is one tall sonofabitch. real nice guy, too. he told me that I look like Bjork "which is a major compliment because she's really cute." I think I melted into a puddle of molly when he told me that.
