Flyboys...
...is by far, the worst movie about World War I ever. Firstly, the whole plot is utterly pointless! They betray the Germans to be pure evil. Secondly, the love story is so corny. Thirdly, the acting is horrible. And lastly, why would you make a movie about the air warfare in WWI? I understand that it was the birth of air warfare in the Second World War, in which it would play a huge role. And of course, mad props to the pilots who fought in the war in airplanes. But it's definitely not movie-material. Not if you want suspense and action anyways. As hard as they tried, it just wouldn't work - the airplanes in WW1 were just...for a lack of better words, hunks of junk (in a Hollywood sense).
