How's it going? Your last post is kind of a wild one to read after not hearing from you for so long.

Totti told me he ran into you at Reed. We spent a butt load of time together in October; I'd went back to Common Ground for two pretty worthless weeks.

There just isn't much productive work happening at Common Ground's Lower 9th site, and people don't intend on changing that either. They've abandoned all of their politics, even their very basic policies towards no brainers like sexual harassment and assault.

How much longer did you end up staying at St. Mary's? How was it for you?

I'm in Whittier, CA, just south of LA, but I should be leaving for Chi tomorrow. It's going okay.

sorry about that - yeah, i hated it a lot. i'm still in touch with robert, but not one else (well, you, now.) if you ever want to vent, because i've found it helpful to talk to people who were there, feel free. and if you want me to disappear back into the ether, i can do that too. whatever feels best for you.
