The Doctors McDreamy Picspam

Okay, so! I'm pulling an all-nighter tonight because my sleeping schedule is all off and, well, anyway, this is what happened. This picspam is the result of no sleep plus workind my way backwards through all five seasons plus close observation of the pretty that is Patrick Dempsey and Jessica Capshaw and the fact that they are both, quite frankly, McDreamy.

The Doctors McDreamy: A Carefully Constructed Picspam

After seeing an icon in one of the Grey's communities (if this is you, let me know, so I can thank you for what may be the grandest epiphany in recent Grey's history) labeling Arizona Robbins as McDreamy 2.0, I started thinking. After careful analysis of characteristics such as touchable hair, swoon-worthy eyes, super magic smiles, and irresistibility of the two characters, I started to realize this was a comparison worth making. I present to you the evidence:

1. The Look

As any true GA fan knows, there is a look. The McDreamy look. It's power was first evident in the pilot and it's strength appears to have grown over the past six seasons. Side effects of The Look may include weakening in the knees and aching of the ovaries. It appears that Dr. Robbins may, indeed, be attempting to employ this tactic as well (and rather successfully, I might add).

2. Lack of Self-Control (esp. in Elevators)

The elevators at Seattle Grace have always been a source of weakness and/or drama for our doctors, but Derek Shepherd has most consistently lacked a certain self-control in this area. As evidenced a few weeks ago, we find that She-McDreamy may also have fallen prey to this weakness. However, we're not complaining. It's a wonder they have a handle on their near-dangerous level of good-lookingness at all; we can hardly expect them to control it in a small, close-quartered metal box.

3. Sex in Scrub Caps

Walking sex, that is. It appears that when He-McDreamy and She-McDreamy employ their favorite scrub caps, they become somewhat... how do you say... incredibly sexy, is the scientific term, I believe. Not only do they save lives, but they look ridiculously good doing it.

4. Love of Informal Dance (a.k.a. Booty Shaking Syndrome)

Both characters appear to share of love of the art of informal dancing, or shaking their delicious booties. Careful research has suggested that this is most likely to maintain the high level of fitness necessary for such flawless bodies, as well as a high level of awareness of their attractiveness and attempt to weaken their partners/the audience with irresistible moves.

5. Looking Delicious in Blue

No research necessary. Merely fact.

6. The Eyes

Both the He-McDreamy and She-McDreamy appear to have eyes that pierce the very soul; yet another unexplained phenomena of their kind. Staring directly into said eyes may have several noticeable effects, including staring, drooling, verbal diarrhea, swooning, and/or, um, falling in love a little bit.

7. Super Magic Smile

This characteristic, only having been named within the past week, has long been present in the McDreamys. The Super Magic Smile, consisting of blindingly white teeth within a smile reaching up to the eyes, has been found to have many of the same effects as The Eyes. Particularly the falling in love one.

8. The Hair

One of the most attractive features of the He and She-McDreamy. Luscious, full hair is well established with the He-McDreamy, and is quickly becoming apparent in the She-McDreamy as well. Hair may appear extremely soft and inviting, often causing victims of its power to inappropriately attempt to touch and/or run their fingers through it.

9. Irresistibility (esp. in Stairwells)

The combination of these incredibly attractive factors appears to cause immense irresistibility when in range of the McDreamys. For reasons unknown, this inability to resist the charms of the McDreamy seems to be particularly strong in stairwells and elevators. Coming too close to a McDreamy in either of these areas almost certainly guarantees and irreversible attraction. Which, quite honestly, is far from a bad thing.

10. Two McDreamys in One Area

In the rare occasion that the Doctors McDreamy should happen to be in the same room/area at the same time, that place is guaranteed to become exponentially more sexy without virtually any effort from the McDreamys themselves. Their attractiveness, while quite potent when separate, is nearly fatal when combined, resulting in extreme hot-assery and deliciousness. Really. Don't even bother trying to resist. I mean, seriously.

In Conclusion

Finally, from both personal opinion and extensive research I can conclude that Dr. Arizona Robbins is indeed most likely the She-McDreamy. In light of this development, I recommend daily appreciation of the Doctors McDreamy and their excruciatingly perfect hair, smiles, and ridiculously good-lookingness, in addition to reviewing the above photographic evidence as many times as necessary.

The Doctors McDreamy bid you good day. ;)
