i admire those who do not let seemingly insignificant characters in their lives seep through a net of indifference. for example, there are few people who are polite with genuine intentions. how many people ask, "how are you?" to a person they don't know and really, honestly care about the answer they receive? how many times really is there truth in a "have a great day"?
i guess this is just naive kristine talking, seeking kindness and sincerity where mechanical routines and devices have dominated the possibilities we all have to create real connections with one another.
i do not know what i am saying we should do.
i just know that i want to grow up actually caring.
because i refuse to believe that every person is in fact, alone.
