So yesh, I made these at the start of the year. I was watching Season 4 of Spooks (which she guest stars in), and quickly realised that she's one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen (and particularly in the Spooks eps). So I did as any good person would do, and iconed her :D

lol yeah. I'm not sure what your thoughts are about 24 and what I call a gradual loss of quality of the show, but recently I've rated Spooks much higher than 24. It really is a great show. Most of the characters are great, and while some of the storylines are a little farcical, it's just a refreshing break from the saturation of action that 24 now spoonfeeds us :P It comes highly recommended!

As I see it, Spooks is an informative, challenging drama series, with fabulous acting and realistic enough to make you think. 24 is the opposite. It's a show I watch for the explosions, and due to the bigger budget, it has more stunts and sequences that make it less realistic. Its about the action for me, not so much the plotlines. I see them as two different kinds of entertainment, but love both.

And given how much 24 has changed over the 6 seasons, I would entertain the thought that 24 s1 and Spooks would be much closer together than what 24 s6 would be. And that's what I love about Spooks, it hasn't changed much in its scope or scale. 24 on the other hand has become a thrills-a-minute program, and as such it loses the realism that it had in the first season, not to mention the quality. I think the writing ever since season 4 has gone downhill, and I find that quite sad, because I like the show less than what I used to. I laugh at it now instead of chewing my fingernails off. And all that sort of stuff :P
Thanks for your comments on the icons, too :)

Spooks did have a slight dip in quality for parts of s3 and 4, but mostly it has followed its expectations brialliantly. And as for not chewing your fingernails at 24 any more, that may also have something to do with the fact that Kiefer has publicly announced he's signed up until 2009. So Jack's in no real danger until then anyway. He's more likely to die of hunger than anythign else...I have never seen him eat anything, or take a loo break or anything that normal human beings do. Is that just a s5-6 thing or was it always there?

Nah, that's one thing missing from the show that would make it so much more interesting and realistic - people doing people things like eating and pooping! I can't recall it ever happening from s1-6 (from a main character point of view). I remember the Palmer's sitting down for a meal in s1, but that's all that springs to mind. I've always campaigned for eating to appear on screen. It'd be awesome!

Or at least, they don't have to eat...just mention the fact they're going out for a sandwich or something. Let the viewer work out for themselves that during the 20 minutes where they weren't featured, they were doing human things, but no. Not even one little line gets put in.
And somehting else that made me go 'yeah right' was at the beginning of this series. Fair enough everyone's there once the emergency starts, but for the first few minutes, its just a normal day. Excpet that apparently, the entire CTU including all of the senior people were in at work at 6am, and had been for quite some time judging by the fact they were all in the middle of tasks.
