life, by the way.
last summer i worked a lot. and then went volunteering. paid for by the canadian government, thank you very much. on my return from peru, i didn't like canada much. so i went to egypt with my sister for a month.
we travelled through the desert, saw some amazing oasises, went down south to luxor and aswan, saw abu simbel that's a few kilometers from the sudanese border (it's a huuuuuuuuuuuuge temple that was built in a mountain that ALL got chopped into bits and moved 100m away because of a dam they built- YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL), sailed up the nile on a sketchy boat called a felucca, saw cairo and alexandria, put my feet in the mediterranean sea, rode a camel to the pyramids, rode a donkey. AND HELD A BABY LION!
i seriously held a fucking baby lion.
