the cool thing about ethan is that he is incredibly smart.
we taught him this useful, awesome trick: if you say, "go see mom!" he'll come to me, if you say, "go see dad!" he'll go to daniel.
but the INCREDIBLY SPECIAL, WONDERFUL thing is that he KNOWS that i am "mom" and daniel is "dad", he doesnt just go to the opposite of whoever says, "go see ___". If i say, "Go see mom!" he'll still come to me as opposed to just going to daniel, the way most dogs do. I guess what i'm saying is that most dogs recognize sound and tone of voice as opposed to titles, names, directions, ect.
any way, this comes in useful when daniel and i want to send messages to each other, he is like our little messenger bird.
