i'm infecting everyone
The first week of school was ok... considering that our teachers are as lazy about summer school as we are.
I especially luff my Chemistry 18 lecture teacher... Ph.D. in Chemistry and with a sense of humor to match. (I have dubbed it "Ph.D. humor") and to sum it up... he's just so dorky it's adorable.
Since we only have a month of school though, we already have a departmental exam next Wednesday so "studying" is at hand.
Official End of Summer School Countdown: 3 work weeks
Since our Chem. 18 teacher called Friday afternoon off, I had the chance to go home early and help with the annual medical mission that my relatives set up (and for those who know... yes it's that medical mission ^_^) and I learned how to suture!
So proud.
I was also in a movie-watching spree (yes, I watched movies in the cinema alone... I should feel pathetic, but I don't ^_^;). The Spongebob Squarepants Movie and The Wedding Date was in the list. The former was kind of disappointing because the whole movie is basically ruled by "deus ex machina"... but I loved the part wherein Spongebob showed off Patrick Star's underwear and suddenly the mermaid crush of Patrick appears.
Patrick: *frantically pulls up shorts* Did you see my underwear?
Mermaid: Um, no?
Patrick: *pulls garter of shorts a touch forward* Do you want to see it?
The Wedding Date... well, I loved Ed. Its the dork-lover in me ^_^.
I also watched Wrestlemania 21 with my cousin/room mate and I think I am also infecting her with the "rasslin' virus" because she was actually amused by the ladder match (Christian's bounciness made our day). Audrey is about 84% infected with it and Marc is slowly becoming a smark.
Oh noes! I think.
I also made my first mini-movie icon this week. I don't have icon space to place it in right now so I'll just insert it in this post.
Face/Off icon! Whee! I would have wanted the fade-out and fade-in to be a little more gradual but LJ has a 40 kb limit on its user icons -_-.
Anyway, tired now... especially because the kids and I swam (new inflatable boat = more fun). Signing out! ^_^
