Hogwarts?

So I went ahead and did the (as I quote) "most scientific Harry Potter Quiz ever created" HERE. And my results were intriguing to say the least.

(Based on a score from 0-100)
o1. Gryffindor = 88
Said Gryffindor, "We'll teach all those with brave deeds to their name."

Students of Gryffindor are typically brave, daring, and chivalrous. Famous members include Harry, Ron, Hermione, Albus Dumbledore (head of Hogwarts), and Minerva McGonagall (head of Gryffindor).

o2. Ravenclaw = 88
Said Ravenclaw, "We'll teach those whose intelligence is surest."

Ravenclaw students tend to be clever, witty, intelligent, and knowledgeable. Notable residents include Cho Chang and Padma Patil (objects of Harry and Ron's affections), and Luna Lovegood (daughter of The Quibbler magazine's editor).

o3. Hufflepuff = 79
Said Hufflepuff, "I'll teach the lot, and treat them just the same."

Hufflepuff students are friendly, fair-minded, modest, and hard-working. A well-known member was Cedric Diggory, who represented Hogwarts in the most recent Triwizard Tournament.

o4. Slytherin = 55
Said Slytherin, "We'll teach just those whose ancestry is purest."

Slytherin students are typically cunning and hungry for power. Important members include Draco Malfoy (Harry's nemesis), Professor Severus Snape (head of Slytherin), and Lord Voldemort.

This is interesting to me because back in the day (when I was still in high school), most of these online quizzes placed me either in Slytherin or Ravenclaw. Now that I'm older and mayhap, a little wiser, it seems that I have grown a conscience and placed myself squarely between the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.

We all grow up it seems ^^, That is why sometimes, I find the concept of Houses in the HP universe at little unnerving because the whole idea is to basically segregate children into these set "ideals" when at the very least least, children are malleable and are infinitely receptive to change.

Plus while House rivalry can be healthy, it can be dangerous too >: we've all seen the consequences in the HP books.
