Iron Man vs. Speed Racer
I loved both, but I liked Speed Racer more. Yes, I said it. I chose bright, vibrant, retro, feast/acid-trip for the eyes over the hotness that is a sweaty Robert Downey Jr.
Maybe it came from the fact that I was ecstatic to watch Iron Man (hearing the great reviews from practically everyone) and when it ended I was, well... ok underwhelmed. Maybe I expected too much, maybe it's because I was beside all the kids and I couldn't hear the witty banter... but Iron Man was just "ok". I enjoyed it for sure, but not as much as Speed Racer XD.
Woot. Speed Racer was fantastic. The cinema-magic-graphics alone was awe-inspiring :D plus, the plot was actually well thought out. The acting was ok, but I especially loved the cheesiness XD. Everything was over-the-top and I loved every minute of it.
Plus, it had RAIN ("I like black XD") Dude, crossdressing-RAIN :3. If that isn't enough for you to watch the movie, then I don't know what else would compel you XD.
So guys, support the movie ^_^ I don't want it to flop gigantically because it really is a nice movie (maybe because I honestly didn't expect much XD). But yeah, it was an enjoyable watch. Plus, most of those who say the movie was crap didn't watch it yet and just based it on the trailers :P.
P.S. I don't know why in the Philippines, Iron Man with a brief semi-naked "sex scene" was rated G while Speed Racer with nothing as risque of note (just one kiss D:) was rated PG-13.

Driving
I would finally have my driving lessons :D woot. Haha, I can't wait to be able to drive properly (manual transmission of course :D).
Reading
I am actually reading again XD. I finally have the paperback copy of "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West" by Gregory Maguire and "The City of Splendors : A Waterdeep Novel" of the Forgotten Realms by Elaine Cunningham and Ed Greenwood.
I love it :D, plus I get to make new bookmarks again XD.
Art
I'm finally sketching again, especially since it's National Doodle Day in the US and UK last 7 and 8 XD. Haha. Sadly, I still don't have a Wacom pen so bah D:, I can't color properly.
Net-Life
I'm planning to resurect my Multiply account since most of my college and high school friends are there >.<. The first step would be to find out how to customize the layout though... because I hate using pre-made layouts XD. (I'm semi-elitist that way :p).
I just realized, I have so many plans for the summer and summer itself is coming to an end D:. Noes.
Video Games
Still honing my DotA skills, although I am playing a "new" game (not new, but new to me XD) Civilization IV. I have the first expansion pack already, I can't wait for the second one to arrive :D. The game is much love, it's like a complicated board game :D
Basketball
Still rooting for the young teams (let's go Cavs and Hornets!). I'm disappointed with Lebron though... talking to your mom like that? *tsks*
I'm playing basketball with my brother and the sporty nephews :D. Holy crap, I have no stamina, must work out more >.<
US Politics
The democratic race would never end >.<
