boracay

Whee, trip to Boracay round up ^-^.

Anyway, my family and I went to Boracay for 4 days and 3 nights and the whole experience was enjoyable, ok... that sounded too formal.

It was hella fun XD.

We did the usual things one would do when they arrive in a "tropical island paradise". We went island hopping, we went snorkling (too bad I still don't have contacts so the fishes and the corals looked fuzzy, but even with the fuzz, it looks beautiful), we went banana boating, swimming (of course), relaxing on the beach, shopping and then, eating.

The food there in Boracay is lovely. Multinational, considering the amount of foreign tourists and expats there and varied. I had the best french crepe there and then really really good (and relatively cheap) Mexican food and then of course, Bacolod Chicken Inasal. Yum :DDDD

Although the bottled water and the tricycle rides are rather expensive. Php 40.00 at least.

Oh and they have pretty high end street dogs there :P.

What else? Oh yeah, my brother and I got henna tattoos. My first one actually, because my parents are scared that those squeezy bottle-like contraption with a needle-like thing in the end actually would penetrate the skin, leaving us susceptable to blood-borne diseases.

The fact that in Boracay most people use a BBQ stick made them say yes XD.

My parents are doctors and are quite paranoid XD.

We usually ended the day in Boom Boom Bar sipping on drinks (some beer for the men and something non-alcoholic for the women XD) and listening to some live acoustic music.

Ahhh, the island life ^_^.

To my friends, we need to go there :D. Together. ^_^
