I am really fucking pissed off right now.
For my genetics class, I have been working on a Final Project for over a month on the childhood disease Progeria and put a lot of time and effort into it. Presentations are next week and my partner and I have been done for 2 weeks.
Yesterday’s class was optional and we were able to work on our lecture and lab projects. I noticed that his other girl had just started her project, only had 4 power point slides, and she was writing a slide on the gene that Progeria effects. I asked her what her disease was and she didn’t even know how to say it, but told the symptoms and it is the same disease we are doing.
The whole fucking point to this project was to do different diseases to present to the class and now there are two doing Progeria. The thing that really pisses me off is that there was a whole list to choose from and Progeria wasn’t one of the diseases to choose from, we thought of it outside of class, so I don’t know where the fuck they got the idea from, it’s not like it’s a common disease. Bitches.
It must sound stupid that I'm so mad about this, but when you put a lot of work into something, it’s frustrating when someone else copies you and does a shitty job. I hope their presentation fucking sucks. God damn slackers.
