Oh man.

It's been a phucking while!

I'm currently grounded for a few weeks and I haven't been able to update or anything. But right now my teacher has let me go to the library during our silent reading day and I thought I would update.

Well, the last few weeks haven't been terribly interesting. Yesterday was my cousin's 14th birthday (*sniff* they grow up so fast! -tear-), but the party was on Sunday, so there was a little family get together. Ummm...Being grounded doesn't leave me much to update about, so let me just tell you the highlights of my life in the past month or so...

::Christmas Vacation::

- I hung out with Caitlin and Amarantha on Friday, then later that night ended up chillin with Leah.
- Saturday, I don't remember what I did, but I know that was the night I got in a fight with my mom about my grades.
- It was either Sunday or Monday that I got grounded, I'm not sure which, but yeah.
- So I didn't really do much after that. During the last week of vacation, my mom and I would stay up until 9 a.m. playing Spongebob Squarepants, then we would sleep for a few hours...wake up...then play some more. This went on for about 3 days, then it got old.

My X-mas presents were:
- A CD player
- 5 video games (Final Fantasy X, .hack// infection, Onimusha, Soul Calibur II, Final Fantasy X-2)
- A bunch of accesories
- Ummm...kitchen stuff for my place (whenever I get one...)
- And some other things, I don't remember right now...

::Afterwords::

Since X-mas vacation, I've been frantically trying to get my grades up. As far as I know, my grades are and A, B+, B, C. I don't know my last two periods yet, I should be getting a progress report for them tomorrow.

I'm proooobably not doing too well in my English classes, just because those are the ones that have been overloading me with homework. In my 9th English class, I have to read X amount of chapters for "To Kill a Mockingbird" and I have to get 500 pages read from an outside nonfiction book. In my 10th english class, I have to read X amount of chapters a day of "Frankenstein" and I have to read 600 pages of an outside reading book, which has to be written by a foreign author.

My outside reading book in my 9th English class is "Buried Alive: A Biography of Janis Joplin" (I forgot the authors name)
And my outside reading book for my 10th English class is "The Fifth Mountain" by Paulo Coelho

So before the end of the tri I have to read a total of about 1100 pages worth of outside reading, and I have to read at least 2 reqired books thus far. Shit. Lol

I never want to fail a class again. This SUCKS!

=3

Until my grades are at least a C and above, I can't hang out with anyone. I'm just trying to get my friends and music back right now. Those are my priorities.

--ANYWAYS--

In my 9th english class yesterday, the teacher put up a bunch of questions from the book were reading and we could pick 10 of them to answer.

Well, this kid in the class came up to me and asked me if Jem was a kid (If you've never read the book, Jem is in fact a child.). So naturally, I said "No."
The guy was like "I don't believe you." And I kept telling him that Jem was an adult. Long enough for him to go up and ask the teacher.
He came up to me and was like "He IS a kid!" and I respond my saying "No he's not..." and the kid was like "NUH UH!" And he goes up to the teacher and asks him AGAIN!

I found that VERY amusing. I giggled.

I might ask someone to Sadies. I'm not sure though...part of me wants to ask him, but the other is just like...no.

I will most likely ask him eventually, but as of right now, I'm just being a chicken sheet.

Well, I'd better get to my class now, the teacher is probably wondering where I am...

TA TA!!!
