I just got my comp back working so I have not been on for like the past month....and I have been reading some of the comments you people make on applications and its pathetic....This is a community on the love of music...not YOUR love of music. You cant reject people for not liking the same music you do. You cant just say no to them because they

If we aren’t supposed to care about peoples views or anything... WHY MAKE AN APPLICATION?? I get the whole "don’t just reject them because of their music, and that’s cool... but why the application then?? Other communities are open access for joining and everyone posts and chats about their different interests. Maybe the community should change to something like that if you don’t like the applications/rejecting of the members in the community.

I think that reason that we have a more 'alternative genre' in here is because of the places that the community has been promoted too. Also, just look at the promotion banners and such. If you had banners with, I don’t know… say, JayZ or Britney maybe even Elvis or Shania Twain you would be successful with your search for different music. Or maybe, as much as I don’t like to admit it, maybe more alternative people have live journals than any other people. Or maybe this community appeals to more alternative people. I don’t know that for a fact, but it could be true.

This community HAS expand my horizons with music... I don’t think I have ever rejected anyone just because of his or her music tastes. I have been here from the start... the first 10 accepted in fact and for you to throw a hissy fit and shut it down is pretty pathetic in my eyes. But hey, what am I to do? This is the internet... and you are over the other side of the world to me. Funny that I can argue with you with the touch of a few buttons. I mainly think its a shame for you to just shut down the community.

Ah, I am bored with this now. Shut it down if you must. Thanks for opening it in the first place I guess, it was fun while it lasted.
