(no subject)
Gold Rush this morning. I got a HUGE 2nd place run in the 3000 meters. My time was 9:47, which according to Conti converts into a 10:37 2 mile. Which is crazy fast compared to my fastest ever 3200(2mile) which was last year at state quals, which was a 11:10. Also had a 31.1 200IH, which is THE most random event ever. And I anchored the 4x400 relay, which was in like 2nd to last so I expected to just not try. But then I did try. Very hard. And ended up getting a 56.2, which is my fastest time ever. EVER. By .2 seconds! And by 1.5 seconds for the season. So then I had a piece of pizza and then a hot dog, for pre-lunch.
Came home, showered, ate a little, then went out to eat at Potato Republic with the team. And we had good fun talking about our first impressions of Erica, and Lisa's random laughing fits, and the fact that there was most certainly a divide in our table between what Laura could eat and couldn't eat. :) Then we carvelled it up, and hung out in the park for a littel bit. We discussed the fact that the seniors are leaving next year, and the fact that I'm the best check-taking-care-of-person ever. Then E.Schweiz drove me, E.Leavs, and Lisa home. But before we dropped of freshEm, we randomly danced to hips don't lie in the car :)
