i still cant belive what happened in new orleans, and how little the govt is doing. my brother puts it quiiiite nicely

it reads as followed:

"secondly, my blood begins to boil every time i hear about new orleans and our fucking inept administration. if you want reasons to get angry, go to www.americablog.com, but in short:

1. the budget for the southern louisiana levy project was personally cut by 80% for 2005 by one mr. george bush;
2. 6,500 louisiana national guardsmen ARE IN IRAQ;
3. we are DENYING foreign aid - jamacia AND canada offered but we TURNED THEM DOWN - the hubris KILLS me;
4. bush was on the LONGEST VACATION IN PRESIDENTIAL HISTORY and "cut it short" by two days to come back after katrina. HE KNEW IT WAS COMING AND TWO DAYS INTO IT WAS STILL GIVING SPEECHES ON WWII and comparing it to september 11th, before spending a last night at his crawford ranch;

THANKFULLY, the new york times, cnn, paula zahn, anderson cooper - they're all tearing them new ones ON AIR.

for instance: http://movies.crooksandliars.com/The-Situation-Room-Cafferty-on%20Katrina.mov

it's not democrats v. republicans, it's not liberals v. conservatives. it's the fucking disgusting ineptitude, greed, and arrogance of this goddamned administration. and i think finally, when a major US city is destroyed and our government is not doing a damned thing as women are being raped in the streets, FEMA has given up, and corpses are floating, the mainstream media is taking a stand. finally."
