pasta pie!
i got today off from work. i don't really know why. i felt like since we were out of oil (again) i had a reason to call out. well, colin offered me the day off anyway. he didn't care at all.
my plan last night was to get incredibly drunk to keep myself a little bit warm, but instead i ended up drinking two beers and falling asleep at 10pm with grace. then we woke up at 2am and took out the recycling, which was never picked up this morning...
i slept in until about 11am this morning. i slept in grace's bed. i love to sleep with her. i made another incredible breakfast for the both of us this morning. then we went to the mobil and got 5 gallons of diesel to last us for the night. we went into the basement and primed the oil tank (how good am i?) and ended up getting a good oil spray to the face. that wasn't very fun... the good news is: we have heat and hot water, and we're getting 100 gallons delivered tomorrow. phew!
i just made dinner for a few girlfriends. i made spaghetti pie!! basically, i cooked up some beef and onions, boiled pasta, then mixed the pasta with butter, eggs, and cheese. then i baked the pasta for a half hour. it was absolutely delicious. i'm really getting into this cooking thing. i just love nurturing people! it makes me really want a boyfriend that i can cook for. i've said it before, but i will make somebody incredibly happy. these past 4 years of being single made me realize that.
sooooo scottie is coming over now, and i'm going to make ice cream sundaes! i hope my future hubby doesn't mind a little junk in the trunk. ;)
