I'M WIDE AWAKE, IT'S MORNING!
I layed in bed for hours with my mind racing. I tried my iPod, differnt positions, and even a different bed. I closed my eyes and pretended I didn't see a lightened sky, I sang ninety-nine bottles of beer on the wall, I thought happy thoughts, I thought wonderful make-believe thoughts, but unfortunately this didn't make me sleepy... it just made my mind more excited to Go. At six I finally put on my warm-ups and left a sticky note on the door. I was down my street, and ran back to get my camera once I saw the moon. I did get some pictures but my camera was out of batteries to the point that I had to turn it off and on during each picture, and it was more a point and shoot sort of deal. Some things I just really wanted to save... however nothing can capture better than the human eye. So... if you're ever up at 6 in the morning and in the area... give me a call and we'll lay on the grass and watch the sun rise together.
