the working title/lovedrug/copeland show last night with my brother. we've seen copeland before and they were so good so i was really looking forward to seeing them again and to see the other two for the first time. during the opening bands' sets we talked to james and jon from copeland and michael from lovedrug at the merch table. i wasn't sure what to expect from lovedrug, but their performance blew me away. especially when they played pretend your alive. working title was pretty good/what i expected. copeland played a great set, including their cover of another day in paradise. i was really impressed by them again, especially considering the amount of touring they've been doing since they released beneath the medicine tree. they still sounded as fresh and sincere as when we last saw them. it will be so horrible if krome is sold as planned. they just can't do it. birch is gone. starland is too big and new. they played the lounge last night, and if it had been at starland it just wouldn't have felt the same. krome is all we have left.
