(no subject)
yesterday around 3ish james drove me and my brother to the trainstation. we bought our tickets then met up with everyone else we were going with. it was like 20 people in total. there were lots of us. we went on the train to penn station. it was an hour ride. then when we reaahed penn station we then needed to get on the C subway to take us to central park. we find the subway and buy the subway metrocards. after we swiped them through the machine thing to let us ride the subway my brother was like "and this is what you do next" and then he throws the card on the floor. chris then follows what my brother does. a cop sees chris littering and gives chris a 50 dollar ticket. haha it was really funny cause he only caught chris doing it. for the rest of the day eveyone was like "chris what do i do with my metrocard?" or "can you throw this on the floor for me chris?" after taking the subway we then are about to cross the street to get into central park. theres this huge buliding next to it and andrew yells "HEY LOOK ITS SPIDERMAN!!!" and im like WHERE? i beleived him and actually looked. for about a good 15 minutes everyone was laughing at me. by the time we actually reached the summer stage it was like 630. we got inside and we thought we missed stars sense the show started at about 530. expect we didnt as we got in they were just getting on stage. stars was alright next came the decembersits which i liked a lot. around 830 death cab came on. they opened up with title track the also played we laugh indoors, the new year, title and registration, ben gibbard then talked about the new album coming up and played a song off there new album called soul meets body, then exop 86, a movie script ending, photobooth, crooked teeth, amputations, why you'd want to live here, someday you will be loved company calls and the closed off with the sound of setteling. BUT they came back on for an encore everyone was like bapaaaaaa one more songg bapaaaaaaa bapaaaaaaa and made it sound like the sound of setteling song. so they came back on with the decmebersits and did a song together then the decemberesits got off stage and death cab totally closed off with transatnalticsm. they were fantastic. they played songs from all there cds and my favorite song. they finished around 10 and we then got our whole group together again. we left the summerstage and walked back to the subway to take us to penn station. i got home at like 1. overall it was a VERY MINT DAY
