TV! (I love you, but... Edition)

Fringe S04E09: I love you, Mrs.Bishop, but what you did to Walter was... I wanted to say ethically dubious, but then I laughed. In the Fringe scale of ethically dubious things, appealing to a man when you know you are the cross-universe alternate of his dead wife doesn't even scale. And I love you, Peter, but you're going to need to be a bit more sneakier and less Chosen One-y if you want to get out of this. And I love you, Nina, but what the hell? Note that this being Fringe, the fact that she's secretly experimenting on Olivia and collaborating with Jones doesn't preclude the possibility of her doing something roughly moral in some larger, arguable sense. Not that I didn't enjoy the ep.

Leverage S03E17 and 18: I love you, Leverage writers, but it'd have been nice to have the Backup Team prove less trustworthy. I enjoyed the family/trust/team focus on the main team, but I think it's even more valuable in a context of general untrustworthiness. And I love you, Sophie, but you have to be extremely literal-minded not to have seen that Nate just killed two men. That he didn't pull the trigger was secondary. Not that I didn't enjoy the eps!
