The rest of the comics, and some older stuff

JSA vs Kobra #2: Kind of interesting. I have yet to fully grok Kobra and how and why they do what they do. I know their exo-continuity origins ---pretty much every Western story about mysterious, fanatical Eastern sects--- but what I've seen of them in continuity is still unsatisfactory.

Final Crisis Aftermath Escape #3: Surreal. Weird. Disjointed. Problem is, with DC you never know if it's being so on purpose or just because DC, well, is DC. Whether things will make sense at the end is anybody's guess.

Agents Of Atlas #8: Sometimes I get the impression that we don't get to see one tenth of what Jimmy Woo is doing. He's earnest, friendly, and honorable, and also, I bet, a very shifty bastard. They didn't give him the Atlas Foundation because he was nice.

And some older stuff:

Tom Strong special or something like that: Doc Savage, anyone?

Ares (the mini): Interesting, actually. Could have been more interesting, though --- weirdly, I think the series' plot was more limited than what the protagonist would have allowed or inspired.

1602 - Fantastic Four: Weird. Doom gets crazier (and cares about things he shouldn't care). Reed finds religion. Johnny is, well, Johnny. It has funny moments, sorta. And we get to find out who wrote Shakespeare's plays.

Ultimate Origins: I like the idea of a tighter universe, and the Extinction thing was very nice. The Origins... so, so. Putting everything together wasn't a bad idea, but some of the connections were rather random, and some of the characterizations felt very off. Worth a redo. Although Ultimate!Johnny storm was funny.
