A couple of minor spoilery observations on Batman #31

This is still a Bruce Wayne who thinks he's insane, and who (only?) feels comfortable talking about it, almost needs to, with Selina: What happened next, when it was just us [Batman, Riddler, and Joker]... No one -- no one but the insane know what happened next.

Also, every word and line in every panel where Selina appears ever since Bruce began telling his side of the War transmits quietly but forcefully how much Selina feels between vaguely fond and exasperated by her boyfriend's epic penchant for brooding, operatic self-doubt, and wishes he could go back to being the hot, smart, kind badass she loves.

It's still possible that Bruce will reveal he did something so awfully unpardonable that she'll kick him out through window - from a Doylean point of view, that's, sadly, the option paying the lowest odds by far - but still, Bruce, you're in Selina's bedroom, presumably the night you asked her to marry you. At least try to be less darkly dramatic.
