1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Graduated from Macalester, wrote a capstone, began a blog, fell in love, was published
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I made New Years Resolutions. I will this year...thinking they'll have to do with conscious masculinity, not going into debt, and being a good boifriend
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
I...I don't think so
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No one close, but some important people
5. What countries did you visit?
the country of love (awwwwww) also NYC which likes to think it it it's own country
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in most of 2007?
Amanda, and um...money and a non-service job
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
February 18/19...June 12th
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Graduating Macalester and falling in love. Both had a lot of bravado and hubris to overcome
9. What was your biggest failure?
keeping in touch, keeping track of money
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
yes!! My tongue puffed up all funny and was filled with pus! it was gross
11. What was the best thing you bought?
my labtop and plane tickets to NYC
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
my friends for graduating and surviving, Amanda for being patient
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
the gays who denied the trannies (and by doing so the femmes, butches, fairies, leatherdaddies etc)
14. Where did most of your money go?
plane fair, paying off credit card debt
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
every trip to new york city, every time she came here...TRANSITIONING!

budgeting, talking, loving, accepting

worry about things I ahve no control over, deny my feelings

in St. Paul...alone but watching "Sweeny Todd"

yes. yes i did.

actually, I hate/dislike fewer people. I see fewer people also which might be why

Jonny McGovern!!!! (technically 2006 but he was still fierce in '07)

...i don't think i saw a new fim this year. But "Anatomy of Hell" was...surprising and very thoughtfull. "History Boys" was excellent as well

I turned 22...and I can't remember. Something to do with Pride I'm sure
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Having Amanda here, having a job i love...but I get one of those things in 2008 and i'm sure the other will follow soon
